Every child out of school is a potential child labour. Education till age 14 years is not a professional education rather it is a basic need to help a child grow and acquire life skills to deal with challenges of life at its full potential.

Ensuring quality education to 1900 children (400 through

mobile & Drop-in centre and 1500 through govt. school

intervention) including disabled of 6-18 age groups and

rehabilitate them through bringing them in the main stream

of education and/or facilitating them to get out of becoming

potential child labour by 2011 through activities like

strengthening and spreading Children Bank in target area,

remedial coaching to slow learners, mass sensitization

activities on Child rights with various level of stakeholders,

organizing cultural programmes for children identifying

local talents, liaison with appropriate departments for

securing Child rights and reverse the child abuses &

harassment, etc.

List of Mainstreamed Children [2006 - 2009]

The objective is to mainstreaming 5000 children of 6-14 years

of age group in Deoghar & Jamtara district of Jharkhand. The

project also focuses on establishing eight prototype models

for Quality Education in selected Middle/High schools. Major

activities are distribution of education kit, provide remedial

coaching to slow learners, establishing Book Banks in Model

schools for children, aware Village Education Committees

towards their roles & responsibilities, organizing health

check-up  camps, sensitize community through street plays

on retention & girls’ education, etc.

Educational Status of Children [November 2009]

Support those girls who have some dreams in their lives but

unable to get their basic education due to various

complexities to fulfill it. These girls belong to marginalized

communities who do not mush supports to spend on

education. Donations support is for one year on education,

school dress, counseling, and medicines & nutrition

supplements.
